guest etiquette by following these simple reminders…

1) First and foremost Las Palmas is our home and a place we hope to grow old with family and friends. Therefore, we kindly request you show consideration towards our home.

2) Each Las Palmas Villa will comfortably accommodate a maximum of 8 adults plus 2 to 4 young children depending on the Villa, each Las Palmas Casitas will comfortably accommodate a maximum of 2 adults plus 2 young children.

3) We ask you to respect the integrity and reputation of Las Palmas; any illegal activities are strictly forbidden and cause for immediate termination of the villa and the rental agreement, forfeiting all rights and monies.

4) Huatulco is a tropical environment. That said; do not be surprised if you have an occasional encounter with a garden snake, frog, nonpoisonous scorpion or crab. Mind your surroundings & Watch your step! Shake linens & shoes and use insect repellent (if you are sensitive to mosquitoes we recommend closing up and using the AC at night).

5) Air Conditioning ~ Be conscientious of your air conditioning usage. The fans provide a sensible alternative, and at night utilize the ocean breeze. Please turn off the unit when rooms are vacant.

6) The Toilet ~ Please, limit your paper product disposal. Ladies use the trashcans for feminine products.

7) Towels ~ Bath and shower towels on the ground inform the maids that you would like them washed, otherwise please hang them up to air dry.

8) Sheets ~ sheets are changed twice a week, please make a request if you would like additional linen changes.

9) Your Things ~ Appreciate communal spaces by keeping track of your belongings and gathering them daily. This will alleviate lost and misplaced items.

10) Trash ~ Recycle beer bottles & cans unfortunately all other items are not recyclable.

11) Telephone ~ The villa phone is for local calls only, each villa phone comes with a balance of $10 USD which is sufficient for local calls, more phone credit may be purchased for additional calls. The villa phone dials like a cell phone input the number you would like to call then press the green send button. Please ask Concierge for assistance.

12) Internet Access ~ Wireless Internet access is available in the Main Palapa, the current code can be found the Las Palmas Notebook or ask Concierge for assistance.

13) Music ~ An IPod docking station or CD radio can be found most suites, plus there are central stereos in the main Palapa and in each villa. Please ask for assistance.

14) TV ~ Televisions, cable & DVD players can be found in each villa suite or in the living rooms of casitas. Please ask for assistance.

15) The Beach ~ The calm & secluded beach of Violin is just down a dirt path (enter at the stairs between Dolphin Cove & Turtle Bay Villas), the beach of La Entrega with palapa restaurants is about 10 min walk down the road, out the main entrance and to the right.

16) The Grounds ~ The floorings and walkways can be slippery when wet, please take extra caution on the rooftop terraces.

17) The Pool ~ There are no deep areas in our Infinity Pool! Please, No Running, Jumping or Diving. Sand stays at the beach, not in the pool, rinse before getting in. Remember that bottles and glass can be a dangerous combination, while poolside please use plastic cups.

18) Smoking ~ Las Palmas is a non Smoking Property. Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the premises.

19) Appreciate the Staff ~ Their hard work and dedication greatly contribute to the beauty of our home. Gratuities are welcomed and encouraged at the end of your stay. Please check the Las Palmas notebook for tipping guidelines.

20) Please consult the Las Palmas notebook for staff names, tipping, restaurants, local activities and other helpful information.

Welcome to luxurious Las Palmas; our hope is that through the beauty of the landscape, the
warmth of the local people and the tranquil atmosphere that you will experience the charm that is
Huatulco. Please respect this property and its staff and we are sure that you will have an
unforgettable vacation.

A 50% reservation deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Written confirmation of your
reservation will be sent to you upon verification of deposit. The remaining balance is due 30 days
prior to the reservation date.

A security deposit of $2,000 USD for the complex or $500 USD for a villa or $250 USD for a casita
will be collected in cash upon arrival and held by the villa’s administrator until a final walk through
of the property is completed, at which time the security deposit will be refunded if the property is
found to be in satisfactory condition.

Cancellation policy; notice of cancellation must be given at least 180 days prior to the reservation
to receive a full refund of the reservation deposit (minus a $200 USD processing fee), notice of
cancellation must be given 60 days or more prior to the reservation date to receive a 50% refund
of the reservation deposit, if notice of cancellation is given within less than 60 days of the
reservation date the guest will receive not receive a refund of the reservation deposit. Please note
in the event of an emergency cancellation we will credit the forfeited deposit toward a future
vacation with Las Palmas.

Upon signing this rental agreement, the renter agrees to the following terms: the renter and the
renter’s guests agree to abide by the Las Palmas Etiquette Reminders (please see attached copy,
additional copies can be found in each suite). The renter and the renter’s guests will not engage in
any illegal activities while on Las Palmas’ premises. The renter is personally responsible and will
pay for any and all damages to the premises including, the property, the villa and the contents of
the villa. As a foreigner in Mexico, the renter recognizes that the amenities of their native country
may not be as readily available in the event of an emergency. The renter is responsible for their
own safety and the safety of their guests. The renter releases Resort Real Estate Services, the
owners and the employees of Las Palmas from all claims, actions, costs, and demands which may
arise from death, injury, loss or damage to; the renter, the renter’s guests or the renter’s property
during the renter’s stay at Las Palmas. The representatives, staff and owners of Las Palmas agree to
the above conditions and to make their best effort to provide the renter with a safe and enjoyable
rental experience.
